Centrica reveals 20MW hydrogen-ready project

Centrica has recently finished the construction of a state-of-the-art gas-fired peaking plant in Redditch, Worcestershire.

The impressive facility, which was once a decommissioned power plant, is now equipped with eight containerised engines that have been assembled in the UK.

These engines are specifically designed to burn natural gas, playing a crucial role in maintaining a reliable electricity supply during periods of high demand.
