Gas Safety Week: Raising Awareness of Carbon Monoxide

Increase awareness on Gas Safety, the risk of CO poisoning and steps to take to remove and control risks as we kick off Gas Safety Week at Scottish Parliament.

Join us for an important event, raising awareness of carbon monoxide in support of Gas Safety Week, hosted by Claire Adamson MSP.

Across the UK, Gas Safety Week will be taking place 14th to 20th September 2026. Celebrating it's sixteenth year, this pan-industry event sees everyone coming together for one common goal — keeping the nation gas safe.

Join us during Gas Safety Week for an informative and engaging event as we aim to increase awareness on Gas Safety, specifically highlighting the risk of CO poisoning and the steps to take to remove and control these risks.

We have brought together another excellent line up of speakers and are delighted to welcome Steve Critchlow, Principal Registered Gas Engineer, Health & Safety Executive as our keynote speaker.

You will also hear from Adrian McConnell, CEO CO Research Trust.

We will also be joined by other speakers from Gas Safe Register and SGN.

Please don't miss this opportunity to learn, engage, and contribute to creating a safer environment for all.
