Whether physical, digital or both then IGEM's Technical Standards can be licensed online.
There are two ways to access IGEM’s technical standards; in hard copy or via an online licence which allows you to view digital versions of the standards through your My IGEM profile on this website.
To purchase a technical standard; in hard copy or via a digital licence you will first need to locate the web page relating to the standard that you wish to purchase.
From there you will be given the option to add the standard to your basket in either format. You can add as many additional standards into your basket as you like before proceeding to the check out.
If you are an IGEM Members are eligible for an exclusive discount of 33% which is automatically applied at the checkout.
You can pay for your standards online or request an invoice. Once we have received your payment your hard copy standards will be dispatched, or digital licence details will be confirmed and you will be able to view them online via the My IGEM section of this website.
Paying for the standards online with a digital license is the quickest way to gain access.
Why opt for a digital licence?
The technical standards licence provides a flexible way to access IGEM Standards. We understand that it may sometimes be necessary to have access to a hard copy version, however, there are many benefits to be gained by opting for an digital licence; such as:

You will be able to access the standard(s) that you need from anywhere with internet access. So you will never need to worry about your standards being left back at the office.

All our standards are subject to regular reviews and updates. We offer licences for one or three years and for the duration of that licence you will be able to access the latest version of it including any amendments or updated versions.
