This Gas Industry Standard (GIS) specifies the requirements for the manufacture and testing of carbon steel welding pipe fittings, of a nominal size 15 mm to 450 mm inclusive, designed for use with pipe conforming to GIS/L2 in gas distribution systems operating at pressures not greater than 7 bar.
