GIS/PP1: Specification for High Elastic Resistance (HER) protection mesh and Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) impact protection tiles

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) impact protection tiles and high elastic resistance (HER) warning mesh may provide additional protection to reduce the likelihood of pipeline damage by mechanical plant as required by IGEM/TD/1 “Steel Pipelines for High Pressure Gas Transmission” and IGEM/TD/3 “Steel and PE pipelines for gas distribution”.
