This part of GIS/PL2 specifies requirements for spigot end fittings (including flange adapters) for electrofusion and butt fusion purposes in the nominal size range 16 mm to 800 mm inclusive. They are made from polyethylene and are intended for use at operating temperatures in the range −20 °C to +40 °C.
