Fellow (FIGEM)

Existing IGEM members who hold either a membership grade of Corporate; Member Manager, Engineering Technician, Incorporated or Chartered could be applicable for the fellowship of the institution

Who can apply?
To be eligible for fellowship of the Institution you will need to be an existing member with us and hold one of the following Corporate Member grades; Member Manager, Engineering Technician Member, Incorporated Member or Chartered Member. 

In addition, you must have held a position and level of responsibility in the gas industry commensurate with your membership grade for five years or more. You’ll also need to demonstrate that you have made a significant contribution to IGEM, the gas industry and/or the engineering profession during your career.

Verification
In order to become a fellow of IGEM you’ll need an existing fellow to verify your application. You may know of a suitable individual who is willing to act as your verifier. If not then we can help you to identify somebody.

You won’t be asked to provide details of your verifier in the initial application form but we recommend that you start thinking about eligible people you know.

How to apply
Log into My IGEM and click on the Manage My Membership icon on the homepage. You’ll then be able to submit a request to transfer from your current grade of membership to Fellow.

Fee
There is a transfer fee of £50.00. The annual subscription fee for fellows is £237.00 (UK) £227.00 (Overseas).
