Innovation Centre at Brownsbarn AGI

Do you want to hear about the latest developments in Ireland on Biomethane, Hydrogen and Innovation. Join us for a visit to Gas Networks Ireland’s Network Innovation Centre.

The Gas Networks Ireland CPD Engineering Committee invites you to visit the Network Innovation Centre located in Citywest, Dublin.

The centre plays a key role in supporting research and innovation activities. Hydrogen research and development initiatives are focused on enabling the introduction of green hydrogen on to the gas network and testing end user capacity to utilise hydrogen. An off-grid underground gas network facilitates research and testing of hydrogen blends. Innovation related to the existing gas network is also a core activity at the Network Innovation Centre, supporting initiatives that will improve how we operate and manage the gas infrastructure both now and into the future.

No PPE will be required, however sturdy shoes are advised for the walking tour, which is flat but includes uneven ground.

Car parking on the site is limited, so carpooling where possible is advised.

Hear from Gas Networks Ireland engineers and managers on the topics of Biomethane development, the pathway for a future Hydrogen network and ongoing research and innovation activities.
