Course summary
Based on the new Edition 3 of IGEM/GM/6, the course has been developed for anyone involved in the planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of standard I&C low pressures gas meter installations, and is suitable for new and experienced users of the standard. Reviewing the fundamentals of design, the relationship with other IGEM standards and ENA approvals and dealing in detail with the major changes from Edition 2.

- To increase familiarity with the new standard, its scope and application
- To understand the major changes from edition 2 and the principles of good design
- To understand the importance of component selection
- To be able to make the right choice of meter and meter accuracy
- To understand when to specify high ambient temperature resistance
- To understand the requirements for pipe supports, housings and notices and labels
- To understand the considerations for maintenance and assessment of hazardous areas
