Section: Midlands Free Site Tour

HPVC Experience and HPC Site Tour

The Midlands Section invites you to the Hinkley Point Visitor Centre and HPC South Plaza for a site tour.

Join the Midlands Section on their visit to Hinkley Point C. Learn why producing low-carbon energy is necessary and how EDF is aiding Britain in reaching net zero through the construction of Hinkley Point C and the utilisation of other renewable sources such as wind and solar electricity.

The tour will include a look around the Visitor Centre at Cannington Court followed by a Site tour.

You will be met by your tour guides at the HPC Cannington Park and Ride. Directions to the Park and Ride will be sent to you after your booking is made.

On the day of your visit, all visitors (aged 18 years and above) are required to produce valid photographic ID, either a current Passport or photo Driving Licence card. If either of the above forms of ID are not available, on the day of your visit, access to HPC Site will be denied.

Before your visit and whilst at the Park and Ride, your tour guides will verify the group’s ID, issue passes followed by a Welcome brief to include security checks. You will then be transported to Hinkley Point Visitor Centre, at Cannington Court, to familiarise yourselves with the Project before heading to HPC Site to begin your tour.
