Member Manager (MIGEM)

Who can apply?

To be eligible to become a Member Manager you will need to meet one of the following criteria:

  • You are employed in a senior management position within a business connected with the gas industry in the UK or overseas and have been working at this level for four years or more

  • You have a management or engineering qualification equivalent to or higher than NVQ level 3 and are employed in a senior management position within a business connected with the gas industry in the UK or overseas and have been working at this level for two years or more.

Visit the individual member benefits page for a summary of the key benefits you'll receive or read a selection of individual member testimonials.

Commitment to continuing professional development

Whichever of the above criteria applies to you, you’ll also need to provide evidence of your commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).

The way in which we ask you to provide evidence of this is by requesting details of the professional development activities that you have undertaken and by asking you to provide written responses to a series of questions that we refer to as our Member Manager competence and commitment statements.

The eight questions that make up the Member Manager competence and commitment statements have been designed to allow you to demonstrate your commitment to CPD.
