This year's Annual Conference focuses on the energy transition narrative, with safety and security of the natural gas network at the forefront. It will explore the overall safety of the industry and in particular the physical safety of the network. It will look at how decisions for current operations will affect the future. Leading experts from the gas industry will share the latest insights and there will be plenty of opportunties for delegates to ask questions.
Session 1: Safe Gas System
Maintaining a safe gas network today earns us the right to operate a safe hydrogen network tomorrow.
Session 2: Secure Gas System
The network is relied upon 24/7, 365 days of the year and is 99.997% reliable. How do we keep it that way and what are the threats and how do we mitigate them?
Session 3: Sustainable Gas System
Natural gas emissions (methane) from the network remain by far and away the largest share of our carbon footprint; what can we do to reduce or even eliminate?
Session 4: Learning from today, preparing for the future
The network has been through significant change over time, and from this we've learnt much that can support the transition to a sustainable gas future.
What’s more there will be ample opportunities to:
- network with like-minded colleagues
- visit the exhibition showcasing cutting-edge products and services
