About the event:
Within the changing regulatory world that we live in, Social Landlords do a vast amount of maintenance activities, installation of energy efficiency measures (EEM’s), home improvements, etc. for their customers to improve the homes they live in. Alongside these activities there has over recent years become a much greater focus on ‘compliance’ and ensuring all the work meets the necessary industry standards and specifications. However, compliance with the Building Regulations is sometimes overlooked and some of the work undertaken by Landlords inevitably falls under the requirements to be notified to the local authority to comply with the building regulations and receive the necessary certification.
This webinar looks at some of the requirements of the Building Regulations in relation to the works a Landlord may undertake on existing dwellings and how they can be compliantly installed. It also looks at options that are available for work to be notified to the local authority and certified through Government Approved Self Certification Schemes. The webinar will be of interest to members of the Social Landlords team that work in Compliance, Asset Management, Maintenance, Improvements and Procurement.
