IGEM's Welsh Section are hosting four mini webinars on the South Wales Industrial Cluster (SWIC) throughout November.
To achieve net zero by 2050, South Wales must decarbonise industry, heat, power and transport. SWIC (The South Wales Industrial Cluster) will identify process options to reduce carbon emissions, options for CCUS and an infrastructure-backbone enabling large scale CO2 emissions reduction across Wales and beyond.
Join Wales & West Utilities' Matthew Davies & Henry James, alongside Paul Wheeler (Process Optimisation Manager/Energy & Environment, Tata Steel) and Peter Martin (Vale Nickel), to learn more about the ambitious £40m programme. This session will cover opportunities for fuel switching carbon intensive processes such as cement and steel production.
