Chris McConnell is a qualified mechanical engineer and has been working in the gas industry for the past 10 years. As the Country Manager for Molgas Energy Ireland Ltd, Chris is responsible for overseeing projects and also the development of the LNG market in Ireland.
Molgas Energia S.A.U. is a Spanish company which is the European Market leader for small scale LNG distribution. Operating in 7 European countries, they annually deliver 6 TWh of LNG to over 250 regasification stations. The Molgas team of LNG specialists can provide a complete turnkey solution from initial audit to design, compliance, installation, maintenance and LNG supply. Molgas operate in a number of different sectors including industry, road transport and shipping. Their Storage and Regasification Plants (SRP’s) have also been used as back-ups to the national grid. In these instances, a specifically designed Molgas system allows the SRP to act as a stand-by source of natural gas to the mains network.
