Wales Section
IGEM has a network of Sections that enhances membership by
offering a local perspective and enabling involvement with issues
in and around the gas industry. The Sections are run by volunteers
who organize a range of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
events and networking opportunities.
Each Section has its own Chairperson and Secretary to deal with
any queries you may have within your area.
Rhian
Jones Beng (Hons), Eng Tech, MIGEM
Chair Wales Section
20 years experience in the gas industry supported by a Beng in
Mechanical Engineering (Hons), Rhian is also a STEMnet ambassador,
where she helps schools and colleges to inspire young people in
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Rhian has held roles in British Gas Wales, Transco, National
Grid and currently works for Wales and West Utilities. Rhian has
worked in Cardiff, Gloucester, Solihull, Hinckley and is currently
working in Newport, South Wales.
In her spare time Rhian enjoys cycling, reading and spending
time with her children.
