London and Southern Section
IGEM has a network of Sections that enhances membership by
offering a local perspective and enabling involvement with issues
in and around the gas industry. The Sections are run by volunteers
who organize a range of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
events and networking opportunities.
Each Section has its own Chairperson and Secretary to deal with
any queries you may have within your area.

Chairman London and Southern Section
David has been in the gas and related industries for the past
forty-five years, at present he is the Engineering Compliance
Manager for National Grid. David is an Incorporated Engineer and a
Member of the Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers and apart
from his gas engineering background David is also a qualified
teacher and a member of the Institute for Learning. Over the years
he has enjoyed developing other people's skills as a manager,
mentor and teacher, providing coaching and personal support.
In his spare time you will find David either trawling car boots
and second hand shops looking for rare vinyl records or in his
mountain retreat in Crete.
