Far East District Section
IGEM has a network of Sections that enhances membership by
offering a local perspective and enabling involvement with issues
in and around the gas industry. The Sections are run by volunteers
who organize a range of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
events and networking opportunities.
Each Section has its own Chairperson and Secretary to deal with
any queries you may have within your area.

Chairman Far East Section
Peter Chak has been a Chartered Member of IGEM since 1990. He is
also a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Peter has
worked for the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited for over 29
years, and has acquired vast experience in gas utilisation with his
engagement in a wide array of work.
At present, Peter is the Customer Maintenance Manager of the
company, focusing on delivering superior quality customer service
with a dedicated commitment to safety.
