Paying your membership
fees by Direct Debit is a cheaper, easier and more convenient
payment method than paying by credit card or cheque.
What is more, a £10 discount* will be applied to your annual
subscription fee - this is applied to your first Direct Debit
*Discount only applies to eligible full rate fees
Set up a Direct Debit
Instructions can be set up by completing the Direct Debit Mandate
Form and returning to firstname.lastname@example.org or
post to IGEM House, High Street, Kegworth, Derbyshire, DE74
The Direct Debit Guarantee
- This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies
that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits
- If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of
your Direct Debit the Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers
will notify you 7 working days in advance of your account being
debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request the
Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers to collect a payment,
confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the
time of the request
- If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit by the
Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers or your bank or
building society you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of
the amount paid from your bank or building society
- If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay
it back when the Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers asks
- You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting
your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be
required. Please also notify us.

your membership through the secure Members area.

To pay by cheque, please make payable to IGEM and return to
Membership Services, IGEM House, 28 High Street, Kegworth,
Derbyshire, DE74 2DA.
It may be easier to rejoin the Institution than you think!
If you were professionally registered with the Institution and
your membership lapsed within the last 3 years then reinstating is
easy. There is no need for you to complete any additional paperwork
or undertake a further Professional Review although you will have
to ensure your IGEM subscription and Engineering Council Fees are
up to date.
If your membership lapsed more than 3 years ago please contact

Monday to Thursday and 9.00am and 4.30pm on Friday to find out how
you can reinstate.

and all communications from the Institution relating to events in
your area, latest UK and international news stories and current
topical issues important to you then please review your contact
details and update them where necessary.
