Companies from all around the world can join as Industrial Affiliates and the IGEM is expanding this membership category. Our Industrial Affiliates represent the complete cross-section of all disciplines comprising of gas manufacture, transmission, distribution, storage and utilisation including related activities such as exploration, liquefied gas technology and gas contractors.
These embrace the relevant chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical and structural engineering elements associated with the multi-disciplinary gas industry.
Benefits of becoming an Industrial Affiliate
As an Industrial Affiliate, you will become conversant with the activities of the Institution and support its aims and objectives. In return you receive the following benefits:

Each nominated representative in your organisation will be entitled to use the post nominal e.g. John Smith Aff:IGEM, that has been specially created for Industrial Affiliate representatives.

An Industrial Affiliate logo has been develop for use on your corporate stationary and product packaging to add prestige and increased credibility.
- Business Contacts and Information
Up to six nominated representatives in your organisation can enjoy most of the same benefits as an individual member of the Institution. They receive the Institution journal Gas International as well as other regular information on industry standards and practice. They can also attend IGEM functions where they will meet with fellow industry professionals.

On becoming an Industrial Affiliate all organisation are given the unique opportunity to place a free article in the News from Industry section of the journal. Now read in over 70 countries, the journal is the leading information provider for technical innovation in the gas industry. Our marketing professionals will be happy to discuss specific product launches and promotion packages to maximise coverage. Company profiles combined with display advertising are also available to you. Larger technical articles of wider interest can also be accommodated.

- Free use of the IGEM Members Room
Hold ad-hoc meetings at IGEM's new HQ - IGEM House in Kegworth, Derbyshire. The Members Room is available for all members to use free of charge during IGEM's usual opening hours.
How much does it cost to join?
- Application Fee
The application fee is £100.00 +VAT. This is to be sent with your application. Please make your cheque or standing order payable to IGEM.
- Annual Subscription Fee
Following election, new entrants will be charged the annual subscription for the category. The annual subscription becomes due on 1st January every year.

How to Join?
The Application Form for Election to Industrial Affiliate must be completed by all organisations.
1. Simply fill in your company details and choose your main representative. The main representative is the contact point in your organisation.
